BMW Radiator 8AN Transmission Cooler Adapter Fitting (M18x1.5)
Put your factory radiator's integrated cooler ports to work. This precision-machined adapter converts the M18x1.5 ports found on BMW radiators to 8AN male flare, allowing you to run AN lines for transmission cooling, power steering cooling, or any other application requiring a coolant-regulated heat exchanger.

Fits radiators with M18x1.5 cooler ports. Uses BMW OEM O-ring 17211742635 / 17211712353 (sold separately).

Why Use the Factory Cooler Circuit?
Most BMW radiators with automatic transmission provisions have integrated cooler circuits built in. When swapping transmissions or repurposing these ports, they typically go unused - forcing you to add a separate external cooler, run extra lines, and find a mounting location. This adapter eliminates all of that. Plumb directly into the factory cooler circuit using standard 8AN lines and fittings.
Faster Warm-Up, Better Temperature Regulation
Running through the radiator's integrated cooler means your fluid comes up to operating temperature faster in cold weather. Unlike a standalone air-cooled cooler that fights against warm-up, the radiator circuit uses engine coolant temperature to help bring fluid into optimal range quickly - then keeps it there. This is especially beneficial for transmission fluid, which performs best within a specific temperature window.

Installation Notes:
Thread directly into BMW radiator M18x1.5 ports. Requires BMW OEM O-ring 17211742635 / 17211712353 (one is included). Connect 8AN braided line or PTFE hose to male flare fitting. Two fittings required for complete cooler circuit (inlet and outlet) - sold individually.
